Where can I get ideas for wedding flowers?
Bridal magazines, on-line, friends and family weddings, floral wedding selection guides, and at Peachtree Petals

How do I pick flowers that match the color of the dresses?
We will make suggestions and show you pictures of flowers that will coordinate with your dress colors. Often there is not a flower that matches the dress exactly, but there may be shades in the same family that will compliment and blend beautifully. An on-line resource for flowers and varieties is www.sierraflowerfinder.com.

What if I pick out specific varieties, and they become unavailable?
Unfortunately, varieties come and go throughout the year. Most commercially grow varieties have a twin. If a specific variety you have selected is unavailable the week of your wedding, we will use our best judgment in selecting the most comparable variety.

What is the best place to start when ordering wedding flowers?
It works best to start with the bride’s bouquet. Everything typically builds from this point.

What are things to consider when selecting a bridal bouquet?
The bouquet style is important. Do you want a hand-tied clutch, nosegay, cascade, etc? The color is another important decision. Do you want all white, lots of color, monochromatic, etc? The type of flowers is the next step. Do you like traditional wedding flowers, gardenias, stephanotis, and roses? Or do you want more mod flowers, miniature calla lilies, gerbera, and orchids. We will help you make the right choices to fit your style.

Traditionally who pays for the wedding flowers?
Traditionally the groom is responsible for the bride’s bouquet, the corsages, and the boutonnieres. The bride is responsible for the groom’s boutonniere. The bride’s family is responsible for any floral decorations and the attendants’ bouquets. Who will design my wedding flowers? Cassie Mathis or Todd Hausman will serve as head designer on all weddings. Our other designers will offer their services as needed.

What are your delivery or set-up fees?
If the wedding flowers are simply to be delivered to the church or reception delivery will be included in the price. If a designer is required to travel to the locations, there will be a $30.00/hr set-up fee for each destination.

When is a designer required to set-up the flowers?
There are many different scenarios. A few examples: candelabra set-up, pew bows, cake flowers, reception centerpieces, etc.

Do you rent wedding equipment?
We have a large variety of brass candelabra, brass pillars, white pillars, Eiffel Tower vases, etc. We only rent our equipment for wedding when we are also providing the flowers.

What if rental equipment is damaged?
You are responsible for repairing or replacing the damaged item.

Who is responsible for ensuring the rented equipment is returned?
If you make accommodations with the facility manager at your ceremony/reception location, we will pickup the equipment on the following Monday. If these accommodations cannot be made, please make other arrangements for the equipment to be returned. Ultimately, you are responsible for ensuring the return of equipment.
